Product Roadmap
We're building the best privacy-first period calculator. Here's what we've done and what's coming next.
Completed
Product positioning
CompletedFree, privacy-first period calculator at period-calculator.net, designed mainly for mobile.
Core calculation (Version A)
CompletedEnter last period start, bleed length, and cycle length โ get predicted next period, ovulation, and fertile window.
Local-only privacy
CompletedAll calculations run in your browser, with no account, no tracking, and no data sent to our servers.
Results page messaging
CompletedWe tell you which phase you're likely in today (period, fertile window, ovulation, PMS phase) and what that usually feels like.
Irregular cycle warning
CompletedIf you enter <21d or >35d cycles, you get a gentle note: one odd cycle can be normal, but if it happens a lot, talk to a clinician.
Educational content / blog
CompletedWe're publishing cycle health explainers (fertile days, PMS, "safe days," etc.) with medical disclaimers and references.
Multi-language copy
CompletedFull site text is ready in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese, with locally natural keywords (e.g. "Periodenrechner," "calculadora del perรญodo," "calculadora do perรญodo").
Visual identity
CompletedWe use a soft heart-style logo, pink for period days, green for ovulation/fertile days, and a single-month calendar with emoji legend.
Phase / Fertility card
CompletedThe results page will include a card that says "You're likely in [phase] right now" plus caring guidance for comfort, conception, or contraception.
Trust pages
CompletedWe're adding /privacy, /terms, and /roadmap to clearly state our privacy promise, medical disclaimer, and why we built this tool.
In Progress
Homepage cleanup
In ProgressWe're improving typography, spacing, and sections ("Why tracking matters," "Privacy," "Who this is for") so the page doesn't look like one block of text.
"What this day means" on calendar
In ProgressEach calendar day will be tappable and will explain why it's marked (period, high fertility, etc.) and what that means for you today.
Blog preview on homepage
In ProgressThe homepage will show a "Latest from the blog" strip to prove the site is alive and improving.
hreflang & language switching
In ProgressWe're wiring up proper language switching and SEO tags so global users get the site in their own language.
Planned
Advanced mode (irregular cycles)
PlannedWe plan an "Advanced mode" to enter multiple past periods, estimate your personal average/variability, and support less regular cycles.
Monetization
PlannedWe plan to add lightweight, respectful ads after content volume is higher, without selling or sharing menstrual data.
