Your menstrual data is extremely private. We built Period Calculator with one principle: your data never leaves your device.

No Accounts

No signup, no login, no email required

No Database

We don't store any cycle data on our servers

No Tracking

No behavioral tracking or data collection

What Data We DON'T Collect

  • ✓Period dates - All calculations happen in your browser
  • ✓Cycle length - Never sent to our servers
  • ✓Personal information - No names, emails, or accounts
  • ✓Location data - We don't track where you are
  • ✓Device information - No device fingerprinting

How the Calculator Works

When you use our period calculator:

  1. You enter your data (last period date, cycle length, etc.) in your browser
  2. JavaScript running on your device performs the calculations
  3. Results are displayed instantly - no data is transmitted
  4. If you choose to save data, it's stored in your browser's local storage (still on your device)

You can verify this: open your browser's developer tools and check the Network tab - you'll see zero requests containing your cycle data.

What Minimal Data We Do Collect

We use Google Analytics for basic website statistics only:

  • • Page views and navigation patterns (which pages are visited)
  • • General location (country/region level, not specific address)
  • • Device type (mobile vs desktop)
  • • Browser and language preferences

Important: Google Analytics does NOT receive any information about your period, cycle length, or any personal health data.

Cookies & Local Storage

Local Storage (Optional)

If you choose to save your cycle data for future visits, it's stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and can be cleared anytime by:

  • Clearing your browser data
  • Using incognito/private browsing mode
  • Manually deleting it in the calculator

Language Preference

We store your language preference in local storage so the site loads in your preferred language.

Analytics Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies for website analytics. These do not contain personal health information.

Third-Party Services

  • Google Analytics: For website statistics (as described above)
  • Hosting: This site is hosted on Vercel/Netlify/GitHub Pages (static hosting), which only serves the HTML/CSS/JavaScript files - no backend database
  • No advertising networks: We don't use ad tracking pixels or retargeting

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data, there's nothing for us to:

  • • Delete (your data never reaches our servers)
  • • Share (we have nothing to share)
  • • Sell (we would never do this anyway)

You are in complete control. Your data lives on your device, and you can clear it whenever you want.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle privacy (we don't plan to), we'll update this page and note the date at the top. We're committed to maintaining this privacy-first approach.
